The AuthorAZ mobile app is designed to be private by default. The website uses ordinary web services for hosting, analytics, email delivery, and product sales.

No cloud account: the app does not require an AuthorAZ account or store your book library on AuthorAZ servers.

No AI: manuscript snapshots and book data are processed locally by deterministic app features, not sent to AI services.

No tracking: the app is built without advertising, analytics, or behavior-tracking SDKs.

Encrypted local storage: app data is stored on your device in an encrypted database. Backup files are password encrypted and saved only where you choose to place them.

You control export and sharing. If you export a backup, share a quote card, or save a file to a third-party storage service, that service may process the file under its own policy.

Email address and signup preference when you subscribe to a newsletter or product update list.

Inside the app, deleting local data or backups is controlled from your own device and storage locations.
